Individual Therapy

In individual therapy you can explore your feelings, beliefs and/or behaviors. You can identify areas of desired change, develop a better understanding of yourself and others. You can work through challenging life changes.

I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to address:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Personality disorders

  • Substance use/abuse disorders 

Couple Therapy

In couple therapy you can explore your individual backgrounds, beliefs and behaviors that impact your relationship. Couples can develop an action plan and strategies to improve communication, learn to manage or resolve conflict and begin to cultivate the relationship each person desires.

I work with couples:

  • experiencing relationship difficulties, working on effective communication and effective ways to manage and/or resolve conflict.

  • by providing premarital counseling, defining couple-ship goals, outlining strengths as a couple and potential areas for problems.

  • by facilitating the ending of a union in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Family Therapy

In family therapy you can explore family dynamics to learn how to adjust and strengthen the family system. You can effective communication, develop healthy boundaries, and find solutions to family problems to create a better functioning home environment.

I assist families:

  • experiencing grief, loss, and trauma

  • by providing parenting information and child adolescence development

  • who are becoming a blended family
